"When I first heard about ArtMovieFan it was from my longtime friend Jean-Marc Detrey who told me that he would like to found a club of movie fans and model builders. Of course I was vera interested to hear what it is about and who will participate.
The first time I’ve met Thierry and Cécile was at the Neuchatel Fantasy Filmfestival (NIFFF) where they have showed me some very impressive models (dioramas) as well as a robot that Thierry has build.
I was very surprised of the really good details and quality.
Over the next couple of years Cécile and Thierry visited me a couple of times in my own private Museum in Frauenfeld, where I’ve got my movie prop collection.
It was nice show it to friends who know the movies and appreciate the work of these over 5000 items I’ve collected within the past 17 years.
Everytime I found the time to check out the ArtMovieFan website I was surprised how fast this club and its member grew and all the fantastic props and models that fans all over the world build. I’m proud to be a friend of such talented and gifted people like you guys !
